Tom Hargis

Tom has been a member of the AMGA instructor/examiner pool for 10 years.  He began guiding 12 years ago for Exum Mountain Guides where he is currently a Senior Guide and the Technical Supervisor.  Tom spends his winters guiding waterfall ice for International Mountain Climbing School.  Tom's experience includes 30 years of extensive climbing/guiding in the US and Canada.  He has also led expeditions in Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.  Tom was the 2004 recipient of the AMGA lifetime achievement in Guiding award.
