Brief Bio
I started climbing late in life--at the age of 52 in 2010--so I'm here to tell you that it's almost never too late. I love climbing and love teaching people how to enjoy the vertical world. My goal as a climbing instructor is to keep my clients as safe as possible while providing a fun, adventurous and successful day of climbing.
My previous careers have included bicycle shop manager and mechanic, climbing shop manager, Honda motorcycle service and sales rep and semi-professional mountain bike racer. I have two children--a 21 year old daughter and a 20 year old autistic son. Neither has any interest in climbing (they've got their own interests I guess) but my son's been to the the top of Half Dome and you can read about his adventure on Supertopo.

My favorite places to climb are Idyllwild and Joshua Tree.
