Brief Bio
I've been rock climbing for only 8 years. I started climbing late in life (late 40s). I don't have aspirations to climb 5.13 or 8000m peaks but have always loved the freedom of the hills and rock climbing skills opened new doors to more summits and more wonderful ways of experiencing the mountains. The brotherhood of the rope has made me a better spouse, father, and friend and sharing that experience and the mountains with others is why I've chosen to become a AMGA mountain guide.
I've been fortunate to climb across the US and in Spain, but especially love California's eastern sierra region as well as my home turf in the Austin, TX area.
