Brief Bio
After six years, my career as a Infantryman and Scout Sniper in the US Army was cut short I became interested in mountaineering after reading a book. Then a year later i attended a Colorado Outward Bound course for veterans which confirmed it; making the outdoors my life's biggest passion. Now, just as it was shared with me sharing it with others is my purpose. The outdoors and climbing gave me the community i missed so much from the military. Since then connecting other veterans to climbing and creating a bridge between the two communities has been my way to continue serving my country. I worked as a climbing and raft guide for many years but now days i only volunteer for Veterans Adventure Groups mountaineering program and founded the climbing team. We lead trips on Mount Rainier, Mount Hood and as of 2023, Denali. And I host climbing trips, free to veterans and their families with quality climbing instruction and have mentored many veterans as they began their own journey into the community and industry.
