Brief Bio
Dave Wolf guides rock, ice, and skiing, for the Colorado Mountain School (CMS), with a special affinity for ski mountaineering and alpine climbing. He has climbed all (and skied many) of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks and enjoys helping clients develop the skills needed for the 14ers’ more technical routes. He has made ski descents of the Grand Teton and Mt. Rainier; established first ascents ice/mixed climbs on Mt. Evans’ Black Wall and in RMNP; and has guided and explored the backcountry powder paradise of Hokkaido, Japan each winter since 2007 with his wife (fellow CMS guide, Norie Kizaki). His mountain endeavors have taken him to Australia, Bolivia, Cayman Brac, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, England, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Japan, Spain, Thailand, and (hopefully!) many more beautiful places to come.
