Brief Bio
After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management from East Tennessee State University I soon moved to Boise Idaho where I began my career as a Wildland Firefighter. Following my passion for skiing and the mountains I found winter work with the Bogus Basin Ski Patrol. I have been patrolling for ten years now with five seasons as the Assistant Director and two as the Director of Ski Patrol and Risk Management with a secondary role in Snow Safety. I also have been actively involved in the Avalanche Education Program as the lead instructor here at the resort and now spend my summers in Jackson Wyoming fighting fire and performing SAR work on a short haul capable Interagency Helitack program in and around the Tetons.
