Brief Bio
Nick grew up in Texas as an athlete, changing sports from one season to the next. He played football and golf in college while studying kinesiology and nutrition and worked as a strength and conditioning coach in Nashville, TN and Los Angeles, CA before turning his passions towards the mountains and rivers.
Nick moved to western Colorado in 2017 and dove headfirst into snowboarding and hasn't looked back. After working at a ski resort for 2 years, Nick took the leap into the backcountry and bought his first splitboard. Since then, Nick has logged hundreds of days in the backcountry of the Tetons, Colorado Rockies, Cascades, and Alaska. During the summer, you'll find Nick on the rivers and lakes of Western Colorado, where he works as a fly-fishing guide.
Currently, Nick is an Apprentice Splitboard Guide and AIARE Instructor. He guides and teaches recreational avalanche courses, in Colorado and the Tetons.
Long term goals for Nick include getting his full AMGA Splitboard Guide and Alpine Guide.
