Brief Bio
Lynn grew up in New England where she developed a love for skiing, and the outdoors in her father’s plant nursery. She started teaching skiing at the age of 13 at her local hill Wachusett where she could share her passion with others. After a degree in Environmental Conservation and Recreation Management she moved west to find bigger mountains and better snow. She completed her PSIA level three certification by the age of 21.
Moving forward with her dream to ski every day and share her passion with others she started competing on the big mountain freeride circuit. Finishing second in one of her first competitions in Alaska, her career was jump-started. She took the time to develop the proper skills to be in the mountains full time by getting certified in Avalanche safety and completing her Emergency Medical Technician certification, and guide certifications. She has multiple podium appearances under her belt from 2001 to 2008.
She is now guiding for Majestic Heli Ski in Alaska guiding clients into the backcountry. She is also teaching steep camps and women’s camps at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, tests skis for Ski Magazine and teams up with photographers.
She guides both multi day rafting trips for Momentum River Expeditions out of Ashland, OR and in Grand Teton National Park for Barker Ewing in the summer. She loves mountain biking and practices yoga as well.
Lynn has traveled to 20 countries, mostly third world, trying to make a difference in peoples' everyday habits. A proponent for the environment, she is trying to take the steps to be as environmentally savvy as possible and make it infectious for others to adop
