Brief Bio
Hi, I'm Jake! I'm a pretty fun guy to hang around and I seem to have a knack for teaching and training others. I'm hyper ambitious and I'm exceptionally good at becoming proficient with things I'm interested in. For example, within one year I progressed from struggling on V1 and 5.9 (auto), to climbing a few V6, 5.12 (TR), 5.12+ (auto), 5.11b (lead/outdoor), and flashing a 5.11+ (lead/indoor) - all while working 50-60 hours a week as a truck driver.
As of writing this (2/12/22), I'm taking my first real steps in seriously pursuing guiding as a career. As I wasn't fortunate enough to be born into this kind of life and don't have rich parents, so I've had to work hard to learn everything I need on my own and finance my way into this on my own. But my diehard spirit pushes me ever onward and I refuse to give up on my goals!
Fun Fact
I had no exposure to anything related to climbing, camping, or skiing growing up - its all been learned on my own
