Brief Bio
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, I found my way to the United States for college and quickly fell in love with the mountains of the West. After a number of years working for various outdoor education companies and working as a guide and rock instructor, I landed a full-time position as the Director of Outdoor Programs at the University of Redlands in California. In 2010 I moved to Salt Lake City to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and started work as the Outdoor Program and Climbing Program Coordinator at Westminster College. Recently I realized a decades old dream of starting my own business focusing on providing unique adventure opportunities and retreat options for corporate and private groups.
My work and personal climbing trips have taken me to all the States of the West as well as Alaska, British Columbia, and Mexico. International trips and locations have included Argentine Patagonia, Nepal, South Africa, Namibia, and Kenya. I am a current AMGA certified Single Pitch Instructor, Assistant Rock Guide, and an SPI Provider. I also have a current Wilderness First Responder and Avalanche II certifications.
