Brief Bio
In 2006 I completed my project to become the first person to ski from the highest point on each continent, the Seven Summits. In 2004 and 2005 I was the Women's World Freeskiing Champion. After becoming a mother (2007 and 2009) I decided to get back into expedition skiing with a spring trip to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge where I led a team of The North Face athletes to climb and ski the highest mountain in the Brooks Range/US Arctic and then skied north across the Coastal Plain to finish at the Arctic Ocean. I've since returned to the Arctic Refuge four times and conducted a scientific mapping project of the highest peaks in the range in 2014 for National Geographic. In my home range of the Tetons, I've skied the Grand Teton 9 times, including the first female solo ski descent of the Grand as well as of Gannett Peak in the Wind River Range. I've been a member of The North Face Global Athlete Team since 2005. I love to climb classic alpine routes in the Tetons in the summer and have been enjoying getting my daughters climbing in the Tetons as well as the City of Rocks, Idaho.
