Patagonia Action Works

“If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that things aren’t going very well for the planet,” says Yvon Chouinard in a new video by Patagonia. “It’s pretty easy to get depressed about it. I’ve always known that the cure for depression is action.”

The devoted activist is now making it possible for all of us to take action.

Today Patagonia introduced, Patagonia Action Works – a way to connect people with local grassroots organizations working to save the planet. “It’s kind of a dating site,” says Chouinard.

Here how it works: Start by entering your location then select a cause that’s important to you, such as land, water, climate, or communities. You’ll uncover events, petitions, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities.

The video above features Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard expressing how it has never been more important to take action.
