    Brief Bio
I Don't have a problem doing some crazy hard thing, a crux on the hard line... What I'm most frightened by is not being able to climb. 2019, Jonathon Spitzer (AAI) told me that I wasn't qualified to join them. at the time I was training with a program I developed based on "Training for the New Alpinism", and Ueli Steck's autobiography, which led me to speed climbing peaks (at times moving 10k ft in a couple of hours). In my passion I became a rapid moving mountain rescuer. I had been working towards finding a guide service who could mentor me on my path towards an IFMGA certification, because at a certain point you can only go so far alone. teams always win. The rejection in 2019 had me flabbergasted and angry as I had been climbing/skiing and traveling through the backcountry for years... I had gotten my EMT in 2013 and finally qualified for my Rock Guide Course in 2015, Which I took in November of that year. Silas, Jeff, and Steve were incredible. they told me to start getting my resume filled out for all three tiers and to not stop for anyone or anything (because it takes forever, and I still needed to tune up my deficiencies). I have climbed and skied through the Wasatch, the Tushar's, the San Franciscans, the Swan, the Mission range, Glacier National Park, assorted lines in BANFF, Eastern Sierra's, Selway-Bitterroot, The Tetons, MT Shasta, Longs Peak in RMNP, the San Juans, in 2019 I just spent a couple of years fixating on Montana and climbing in Canada. I landed myself in Colorado during the Pandemic I did most of my interests alone. I had a few clients from Montana ask me to take them out, but I was On-Call doing Covid Rapid response for the CDPHE in Colorado as well as pouring drinks (Bar Manager) for the Teton Gravity Research (TGR) crew. The pandemic closed up my access to Continuing Education for my medical education as well as put a strain on my relationship with Todd and Steve and the other members of the ski film crews since I was adamant about sticking to my principals related to safety during a health crisis. We had great times during the movie premiers before the before the world was upended. I saw a lot of things throughout the pandemic that only piled on my shocking experiences running on the ambulances/trucks and I was well suited the ski patrol unit at Lost Trail, where TGR did a short film. In the last month I have been climbing in Yosemite, Pinnacles, and Joshua Tree, where I have taken random strangers up with me. David, from Chattanooga, shared my rope on Saturday and said, "I just climbed with a complete stranger and It's scary to climb with someone you don't know. Having just met you I felt very safe." Every time I return to an area the stories of the routes I have done explodes into my head and I ask myself, "how can I not be qualified to move forward and live my dream?" "How come I have to keep raking myself over hot coal, causing myself trauma, working in medicine or telling rich people what to eat and drink?" I dream of being an IFMGA.
