  • Alpenglow Education is offering a Behavioral First Responder course customized for AMGA members! The Behavioral First Responder course is designed for guides, program directors, and staff that are looking to gain skills in behavioral management and mitigation techniques. These skills will complement your technical skills learned in AMGA courses and WFR. The Behavioral First Responder course is currently being adopted by UC Santa Cruz, Southern Illinois University, and California State University Long Beach to name a few locations. This specialized course offering is taught by AMGA members Becca Wallingford Meier MSW and Curt Davidson Ph.D., with a combined 27 years of outdoor instruction, guiding, and teaching.
