Brief Bio
Jordan was born and raised in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and quickly became hooked on the challenge, community, and beauty of the mountains. He graduated from Bates College with a B.S. in Geology but, his love for rock proved to be more than scientific and he now splits his time guiding the alpine of the PNW in the summer and the icy pinnacles of New England in the winter through his North Conway, NH based guide service, Mountain Shadow Adventures. Jordan has had the opportunity to pursue ski-mountaineering, ice, rock, and alpine climbing from the High-Arctic of the Svalbard Archipelago to the southern latitudes of Argentina. On the rare occasion that Jordan is not in the mountains he can be found trail running, mountain biking, or making pizza.
