    Brief Bio
My journey into the world of snow science began with a deep appreciation for the physical and dynamic properties of snow, leading me to pursue a master’s degree in snow hydrology. This academic foundation opened doors to my current position as a snow scientist with Airborne Snow Observatories, where I apply my expertise in analyzing and measuring snowpack conditions from aerial data, an essential component for water resource management and avalanche forecasting. I also had the opportunity to intern with three key avalanche centers: the Flathead, Chugach, and Northwest Avalanche Centers. Each experience provided unique insights into regional snow conditions and avalanche behavior, shaping my approach to avalanche science. These internships led to my involvement in teaching avalanche courses through Baker Mountain Guides and leading avalanche awareness programs with the Northwest Avalanche Center, allowing me to share my knowledge with aspiring mountaineers and backcountry enthusiasts. This year, I'm excited to begin my journey as an apprentice ski guide, deepening my skills in backcountry navigation and risk management. When I’m not immersed in snow studies, I’m drawn to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy hiking, climbing, and kayaking, as well as creative pursuits like painting landscapes that capture the region’s rugged beauty. Nestled between the ocean and mountains, my home inspires both my work and my personal passions.
