The AMGA’s 2019 Annual Meeting will kick off on Oct 24, feature technical and classroom clinics, annual awards, AMGA/IFMGA graduation, a Roundtable discussion with the Board, and much more! All the action will be held at the Petzl Technical Institute in Salt Lake City.
The Annual Meeting is our biggest yearly event that offers our members the opportunity for professional development and the chance to network with fellow guides and industry professionals. Plus, this year we have more choices and added clinic spots for Outdoor Technical Clinics.

2019 marks the AMGA’s 40th year. We will be celebrating our anniversary at an offsite location. This evening will include awards, IFMGA Graduation, special guest speakers and most importantly… the 1979 costume contest! Find your best 1979 outfit and get ready to party!
The AMGA has secured rooms for AMGA members at $95 a night for either a double queen or a single king. Including Free shuttles that members can schedule for transport to and from Petzl or other SLC locations.
