October 24 – 26, 2019

The AMGA’s 2019 Annual Meeting will kick off on Oct 24, feature technical and classroom clinics, annual awards, AMGA/IFMGA graduation, a Roundtable discussion with the Board, and much more! All the action will be held at the Petzl Technical Institute in Salt Lake City.
The Annual Meeting is our biggest yearly event that offers our members the opportunity for professional development and the chance to network with fellow guides and industry professionals. Plus, this year we have more choices and added clinic spots for Outdoor Technical Clinics.

Our schedule of clinics will have something for everyone, regardless of certification level or number of years in the profession.

In addition to our popular technical clinics, we also offer indoor classroom sessions with topics that aren’t otherwise covered in AMGA programs. These workshops are taught by experts in their respective fields and include subjects such as:

  • Leave No Trace Awareness Certificate session
  • Guiding and finance
  • Analog Mapping & Navigation
  • The Permitting Process and Strategies
  • What Insurance Companies Look for in Risk Management
