AMGA and Arc’teryx to Host 2015 Round Table Discussion Tour to Address Access & Guiding Issues in Community

Boulder, Colo. (May 22, 2015) – Following a successful 2014 tour, AMGA and Arc’teryx will be hosting a 2015 Round Table Discussion Tour. The tour, which is sponsored by Arc’teryx, aims to bring the guiding community together in order to address the issues and challenges that guides face.

“We are proud to continue our support of the Round Table Discussion Tour for AMGA guides. Arc’teryx values our relationships with American guides and sees great value in partnering with the AMGA to continue to develop the guiding profession,” said James Bronson of Arc’teryx.

The tour schedule is as follows:

Jackson Hole, Wyoming – August 26, 2015

Fayetteville, West Virginia – September 1, 2015

Salt Lake City, Utah – October 23, 2015

New Paltz, New York – November 19, 2015

The round table will allow those in the guiding community to directly address AMGA staff and board members with issues they encounter in the field. Those interested in attending can go to the AMGA’s website for more information, as well as to see discussion recaps from the 2014 tour.
