The AMGA has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) that creates a formal line of communication for the AMGA and USFS to cooperate on mutually-beneficial programs, projects, and activities. “This agreement opens the door to new levels of communication and collaboration with the Forest Service,” says AMGA Advocacy and Policy Director, Matt Wade. “AMGA members and accredited businesses can use the MOU to initiate conversations with USFS land managers to facilitate stewardship projects at guiding areas, engage in planning efforts, and serve as a resource on matters related to guided climbing and backcountry skiing.” Please contact Matt Wade at [email protected] or 303-847-4482 for more information.
