Brief Bio
Dennis grew up on the south shore of Long Island far away from any mountain top. As a teenager he discovered skiing and hiked his first peak in the Adirondack Mountains. He quickly became an ADK 46er by his early twenties. Since 1997, Dennis has professionally mountain guided and has over 30 years of climbing experience. His passion for mountains and exploration has led him to climb and travel all over the world. In 1993 he worked as a volunteer in Nepal where he discovered his love of foreign cultures while helping the Nepalese people. He’s worked for many well respected guide services including ice guiding in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, on Mount Rainier and in the North Cascades. His expedition experience includes Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Alpamayo, Mount McKinley, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Mount Blanc, Mexico Volcanoes, Ecuador Volcanoes, as well as the major mountain ranges of the United States.
