Julbo USA is proud to announce they are partnering with the AMGA to award an aspiring guide with a scholarship for ski guide course. A portion of sales from Julbo’s mountain performance eyewear and goggles through Julbo.com will be used to support a scholarship for ski guides seeking their IFMGA certification.

“Julbo is a mountain brand with distinctly mountain products,” described CEO, Nick Yardley, himself an AMGA certified mountain guide. “This is a partnership that’s natural for us and one we’re proud to offer to ski mountaineering guides-in-training.”

Founded in 1979, the AMGA is a non-profit that offers training courses and certification exams in rock, alpine and ski mountaineering.

“A key component to the success of the AMGA and its aspiring guides are the scholarships provided by outdoor industry leaders like Julbo. We’re thrilled at this partnership,” described Dana Richardson, AMGA’s strategic partnership manager.
