AMGA Mentorship Camps are low-ratio training opportunities for members going through the mountain guide programs. There is an application process for selection and there is no tuition fee charged to attendees. Mentorship Camps are unique in that they offer additional training and low-ratio coaching outside of the traditional AMGA mountain guide programs and assist with participant travel costs. Camps focus on specific skills that attendees need direction, practice and additional guidance on. In addition to hands-on technical skills training, Mentorship Camps offer participants the ability to connect with a fellow guide and Instructor Team member to openly discuss concerns, challenges, opportunities, and aspirations for moving forward in the AMGA programs and in the guiding career.
Due to COVID-19 Impacts, 2020 Mentorship Camps have been cancelled. Please check back for 2021 dates.
